Ann Underwood
Treasurer
I became a resident of Seward County in 1988, choosing to raise my children in this community rather than in the surrounding areas of Lincoln. Prior to that, I served as the Valley County Assessor from 1980 to 1988. I then joined the Lancaster County Assessor’s Office as the Residential Appraisal Supervisor, a position I held until 1992. I maintained an appraiser’s license for many years and worked as an associate broker from 1992 until my retirement from real estate in approximately 2021.
I became active in politics out of concern for the direction of public education in Nebraska. I believe it is important to remain engaged in efforts that support and protect our children and communities. I am currently serving my second term as the Seward County Republican Treasurer.
