LINCOLN, NE - The Nebraska Republican Party (NEGOP) chairman, Eric Underwood announced on Tuesday that two county chair leaders in Nebraska have been chosen to attend the Mid-West Fly-in in Columbus, Ohio at the end of June 26th and 27th, 2023.
Over the last few cycles, the RNC has hosted comprehensive training and networking events around the country for state chairs, RNC members and state party staff. These Regional Fly-ins provide a unique opportunity for local leadership with colleagues in neighboring states to share best practices, find creative solutions to common problems, and plot a course to victory for the party.
Chairwoman McDaniel has expanded the Regional Fly-ins to include county chairs and Underwood named Seward County GOP Chair, Danna Seevers and Keith County GOP Chair, Christine Vail as the Nebraska attendees. “Danna and Chris are two of the hardest working party members in the field. They continuously promote the activities of the party, how to get involved and show up and mentor others in new leadership positions.”
Chris Vail, Keith County GOP said: “This is an honor to be chosen by our state leadership to attend this event. We are working all across the state to prepare for the 2024 primaries which are less than a year away. After the successful year in the legislature, we look forward to electing true conservatives to represent the people.”
Danna Seevers added: "I am so humbled to be selected to represent Nebraska at the regional RNC meeting. Being still new to politics, I'm eager to learn more about the role of county chairs and how I can better lead and serve Republicans in my county and state."
